The first AIGA Portland “SHIFT: A Green Salon” event was held November 5th at Pop Art’s Community Room with an overwhelming turnout of over 80 people. When I started AIGA Portland’s sustainability initiative earlier in the year and began planning events to help increase awareness of the importance of sustainability in design work, I was hoping we would hit on a subject matter that would be of interest to local designers.
